Tutu couture ...

Tutus make a lovely gifts for newborn baby girls, birthdays, Christenings or Christmas, and are fantastic outfits for your little fairy princess to wear to birthday, Christmas or afternoon tea parties, weddings and other special occasions, or even to their own Christening. Tutus are also great as a costume or prop in boutique photography or dress up sessions.

A number of different styles of tutus are available: Classic, Elegant, Fluffs, Dresses, and of course custom orders - we are happy to cater for you ... just use your imagination. Over 40 tulle colours are available from our supplier and you can order tutus in just one colour, or a combination of two colours, three colours, four colours, etc. ...

Colours commonly stocked include: white, baby pink, paris pink, hot pink, garnet, red, wisteria, lavender, deep purple, light blue, french blue, kelly green, emerald, and black (other colours may be available - see colour chart - please contact us by email to find out availability when placing order).

All tutus are handmade here in Sydney, Australia using the highest quality (softest and fluffiest) tulle imported from the USA (certified lead free and fire retardant). Size chart and pricing ... classic style tutu

Elegant tutus (RRP: Classic tutu price + AUD$2)
Classic tutu length with diamante bow clasp. Colours include: amethyst, paris pink, eggplant.

Tutu fluffs (RRP: same price as Classic tutu)
Approx. 5 cm shorter than Classic tutus and with 20% more fluff (body). Colours include: baby pink, hot pink, white, wisteria.

Care instructions ...

Tutus are delicate items of clothing. If treated correctly they will last for a long time. If treated poorly they will become a bit disheveled. By following the instructions below, even tired old tutus can be revitalised.

Storing your tutu …

• laid out flat in a ring on a bed or chair
• folded gently in half and stored in a box (tutu may need some re-fluffing once removed), or
• hung up using a skirt hanger

Washing your tutu …

• Luke warm hand wash is recommended and preferred using very mild detergent. Gently squeeze off excess water. Spot cleaning to affected area also possible with mildly soapy water – be sure to rinse well.
• Always air dry tutu by hanging up with skirt hanger in well-ventilated area. Do not dry tutu in a dryer!!
• Remove wrinkles by hanging up in a steamy bathroom while showering and re-fluff by combing tulle strips with fingers. Steaming with an iron is not recommended as tulle will melt if it comes into contact with iron.
